Friedrich B%C3%B6hme

Friedrich Bhme was a highly decorated Kapitn zur See in the Kriegsmarine during World War II. He was also a recipient of the Knights Cross of the Iron Cross. The Knights Cross of the Iron Cross was awarded to recognise extreme battlefield bravery or successful military leadership. Friedrich Bhme was captured by American troops in 1945 and handed over to British forces. He was released in 1948.
